(Maineville, OH) Somerset for Christ, a Christian music band from Maineville, Ohio, recently released “Break My Heart” to national radio through Patterson Promotions on PP#17 compilation disc. The song was written with reference to how one’s heart can become “hardened” and the need for “the Lord, by His Spirit, to break up the hard, fallow ground in our hearts in order to walk in love toward others.” The group’s ministry was created in 2009 and although they do not tour, they have a mission of spreading the word of Christ through their music and related activities. Their music is a combination of Christian Country and Pop with the overriding objective being “a focus on the eternal.” They strive to reach souls through radio and the internet. In doing so, they have become regulars on the popular Larry Ford radio program and have successful airplay in neighboring states and beyond. The band’s unique musical talent is not their only gift. Their involvement with charitable causes has made them a beloved ministry on the homefront and abroad, even as far as Africa. Each member of the band is active in their local church and they have a passion for reaching out to those with disabilities, the aged, and others who have special needs. Pauline Patterson notes, “This band is unique and upbeat. I’m so happy to be a part of this wonderful music ministry. Their mission and purpose is also a blessing to those who cannot get out and travel to concerts. By focusing on internet and radio ministry, I believe they will continue to reach the masses with their inspiring music!”
