Hiltons, VA (March 5, 2015) Award winning Gospel group, The Browders find themselves topping the charts again for the month of April on The Singing News monthly chart as well as the Absolutely Gospel Music weekly chart. This was their fourth release of a single from their project titled Time Machine. The song that hit at number one is “He Took The Nails” which features Sonya Browder.
Sonya Browder stated, “I’ll share a secret with you: I actually didn’t think “He Took the Nails” was a good choice for a single! We hadn’t sent out a single with me singing lead since “Message of the Cross” over 4 years ago, and I thought the song was too slow, too simple, to get significant airplay. Instead, it has been one of the fastest-rising singles we’ve ever released. That proves that DJs and listeners alike still relate to and love to hear songs about the simple message of Salvation. That encourages me, because after all, without the cross, what do we have?”
This is The Browders fourth number one song from this project and the group’s fifth consecutive time to earn the number one place on the charts. “He Took The Nails” is a strong ballad with a Country feel and a message that will touch your heart and your conscience and was written by Matthew Browder and Mike Upright.
The Browders are performing on April 14th at the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards in Smyrna, TN where the are nominated in five categories.
