Nashville, TN, April 27, 2015. “Tell Somebody,” the newest recording
project from fast rising Southern Gospel mixed quartet The Williamsons
continues to receive rave reviews and acclaim. The Singing News recently released their review of the album.
According to reviewer Adam Borden of Singing News Magazine, “The
Williamsons have risen on the horizon with outstanding vocals, great songs, and a wonderful spirit.” Mr. Borden continues, “Lisa Williamson is not only
a tremendous vocalist but also a great songwriter. Lead singer Karl Rice is the quintessential Southern Gospel lead with tremendous range and power.
The Williamsons young bass singer, Darin Hebert, possesses incredible
depth, tone and cut. There is not a filler song on this entire album.”
Their first single from the album, “It Was the Word,” is a top five song in
the June Singing News monthly chart as well as a top ten song on the Solid
Gospel Radio Network weekly chart. Their new single, “Shout,” which was
recently released to radio has been well received by radio and is widely
considered to be a contender for the number one spot on the charts in
coming weeks.
Continuing their year of chart success, award nominations and well received concerts, The Williamsons continue to use these platforms to share the message of Christ’s love and forgiveness to more people across the country.
They will be a part of several top events this summer including the highly anticipated “Fabulous Friday Nights” Gospel Music Dinner Theater at the Barn at Bear Hollow in Monteagle, Tennessee and the Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. They are also excited about their recent nomination for the Favorite New Mixed Group in the Singing News Fan Awards. For more information you can go to singingnews.com
