2015 Gospel Music Fan Awards presented by Christian Voice Magazine

Musical performances during the awards ceremony featured The Roarks, The Coffmans, Debbie Bennett, Mark209, The Perry Sisters, and – from Jimmy Swaggart Ministries – Joseph Larson.

It’s not uncommon for an artist who is a favorite among fans to receive multiple awards. In the past, one or two artists generally dominated the awards as multiple award recipients. This year, however, Gospel music fans honored a wide variety of artists including some fresh faces and new voices.
“Gospel music fans are very loyal, and they know what they like,” remarks Christian Voice Magazine editor, John Lanier. “These awards are 100% fan-based, and I think everyone was pleased with the results – honoring some long-time favorites as well as encouraging some new and up and coming artists. We were thrilled with another successful awards show presented before an enthusiastic crowd.”

Mark209 – an exciting and energetic quartet from the heart of Nashville – took home ‘Favorite Group,’ while Australian artist, The Peter Christie Band was named ‘Horizon Group of the Year’ and ‘Favorite Band.’ An overwhelming, enthusiastic response from the audience came when Tracy Stuffle of The Perrys was named ‘Living Legend.’
