Lineage of David has released a brand new project “God Will Make A Way” on Chapel Valley’s Sanctuary. The group, made up of David Folenius singing lead, Lisa Folenius singing alto and David Doolittle singing baritone, said the project’s flow between songs brings a natural feel as it plays.
“The sound of this new CD has finally captured our personalities,” David Folenius said. “It seems to move slightly from song to song as each message has its own meaning. It stays true to our Southern Gospel roots, but has given us some freedom to explore a few new avenues.”
Lineage of David was formed in 2013 when husband and wife, Lisa and David, followed God’s plan to start their own ministry after 25 years of singing in other groups. David called traveling with Lineage of David a sacrifice at times, but said “knowing and seeing we are being effective as a ministry whether it be seeing a lost soul saved or seeing folks encouraged or lifted up, it makes it worth it all.”
“God Will Make A Way” is a fitting title, as David said the one thing that made the project possible was the Lord.
“God had his hand in the project since day one,” he said. “In every facet of this recording, production, song writing and selection, all the players, engineering, vocal delivery, right down to the shrink wrap.”
