Dear Gospel Music Friends,

Greetings in the Name of the Lord! Hope that this letter finds you and your family doing well. Thank you for your support of our ministry during the past year. 2015 has been a wonderful year! It’s hard to believe this will be our 30th anniversary promoting southern gospel concerts! At times I still feel like the 16yo kid that was just starting, but I also “feel” the 30 years of travelling more and more. One thing is for sure – we definitely could not have done it without your friendship and support.

Starting Monday, August 3rd at 9am (est), our 2016 Booster Club goes on sale. I have included a preliminary flyer on the 2016 Winter Convention at the end of this email. As has become customary, we are beginning the renewal process now to enable us to properly prepare for our 2016 Winter Convention. It’s going to be a great Convention, with several new artists returning to Palmetto for either their first time or first time in a long time! As our “thank you” for your early renewal or membership, we are giving preferred seating to those who join or renew early. In other words, the sooner you join or renew your Booster Club membership – the better seats you will have for the 2016 Winter Convention!

GuyPenrod-WorshipWe have assembled what we believe is the finest lineup ever for the 2016 Convention! Pat Boone is our very special guest headliner on Wednesday night! Guy Penrod and the Kingdom Heirs are making their debut appearances at the Winter Convention. The “Jubilee Night” will open the Convention on Monday, featuring the Booth Brothers, Legacy Five, and Greater Vision! Also, we are excited to welcome Goodman Revival for the Thursday matinee. We are including many of your regular favorites like the Perrys, Hoppers, Triumphant Quartet, Booth Brothers (for two nights!), Nelons, Ivan Parker, Blackwood Brothers, Primitive Quartet, Gold City, Kingsmen, and many others! Our chapel services will include some of your favorites – Randy Perry, Johnny Minick, Mark Trammell, and Josh Franks. All in all, this is going to be a great week!

Our 2016 Winter Convention will once again be held in Palmetto, Florida at the Bradenton Area Convention Center (located just north of Bradenton on US Hwy 301). This facility is the perfect location for our event, and our attendees continually comment how accommodating the building is. The daytime matinee concerts are now held in the Main Arena to service the ever-growing crowds, and provide comfortable seating for everyone. Because of the tremendous growth of our event, the overnight parking for self-contained motor homes and campers is located directly across the street. Please remember that reservations are required for overnight parking of motor homes and campers. Booster Club members get the first opportunity to make reservations when they renew their membership. Registration for overnight parking is just $50 for the entire week. Reservations on a per-night basis are not available, and spots are assigned. Ask for details when calling. A complete list of hotels and campgrounds is available on our web site.

Of course, we will continue our annual Spring and Fall Jubilees at the Dixieland Music Park in Waldo, Florida. The Fall Jubilee will be held October 22-24 and will feature the Perrys, Kingsmen, Browders, Brian Free & Assurance, Singing Echoes, Karen Peck & New River, Bowling Family, Josh & Ashley Franks, Debbie Domer, Wilma Smith, Gail Boyce, and more. For camping reservations, call (352) 468-3988. The Waldo Inn & Suites is located within walking distance of the music park! For hotel reservations, be sure to ask for the special “Gospel Jubilee” rate and call (352) 468-2500.

The 2016 Booster Club will operate very similarly as it did last year. Reserved seating is available for all concerts, except for outdoor events where lawn chairs are needed. Sally and I will host a dinner for Booster Club members during the Winter Convention on Wednesday, February 3rd. 2016 Booster Club prices will remain the same at $200 per person or $400 per couple. That is the same amount as last year! (If you’d like to give extra to help us with these increased costs, it would be greatly appreciated.)

Thank you again for your support, prayerfully and financially. Many of you support our ministry throughout the year, and without your help, I don’t know how we could do it. Sally and I give you our love and prayers. We count our Booster Club friends as our greatest supporters. Please call if we can ever be of assistance. I will be looking for your letter or phone call.

P.S. The easiest way to renew your 2016 Booster Club membership is by phone using your credit card, and calling (941) 756-6942. MC/Visa/Discover/Amex accepted. Our office opens at 9am (est) on Monday, August 3rd for renewals.

P.P.S. Remember that the early bird gets the worm! The sooner you renew, the better seats you will have for the 2016 Winter Convention. Hope to hear from you soon!

P.P.P.S. Because of rising costs and the additional events we have planned for next year, it has made our budget very tight. If you could give an extra offering when renewing your 2016 Booster Club membership, it would be greatly appreciated and is definitely needed. Thanks for your prayerful consideration. We really do depend on our friends, just like you!
