The 3rd Annual M.A.C. Records Night of Worship will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17th at the City Auditorium in Vernon, AL. There will be music for everyone from Christian Country to Southern Gospel Quartet style. The concert will feature the winner of the M.A.C. Records
Gospel Talent Search and the artists of M.A.C. Records along with special guest artist, Chuck Day.
The M.A.C. Records’ artists performing at the concert are The Reed Brothers; Kenny Gardner; Carol Barham; The Capstone Quartet; and McKay Project.
Special guest artist, Chuck Day, is an ICGMA (International Country Gospel Music Association) Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Songwriter of the Decade. He has penned more than 15 No. 1 songs, including “Midnight Cry”, recognized as the most recorded popular song in Christian music.
“Leslie and I are really excited about this year’s event and look forward to a night where people from all
backgrounds and denominations can come together and worship and enjoy good Christian music”, said Dennis McKay who owns M.A.C. Records and Studio 115A along with his wife, Leslie. They also make up the duo, McKay Project.
Admission to the concert is a pair of new socks to support “Socks N Souls”. Socks N Souls is a ministry effort started by Dennis and Leslie McKay to provide new socks to homeless communities. They found out that if given the choice between a pair of socks and a meal, most homeless people would choose the socks. So bring your new socks – any size or color – when you come to the M.A.C. Night of Worship on October 17th. A love offering will be received during the
evening at the concert.
